Why WordPress?
Many people think WordPress is just a blog site, not a true website. Yes, WordPress did start as a blog platform in 2003. But I can tell you now in 2016, WordPress is no more a simple blog site. It’s a true website platform and approved by tens millions of users worldwide (please check “WordPress: It’s not just for blogs” and “Not just for bloggers: How you can use WordPress for your business” for more details).
After many years growth and development, WordPress has become the most dominant CMS (content management system) in the world. At 2016, WordPress is used by 26.5% of all the websites. That is a content management system market share of 59.6% (please check “Usage of content management systems for websites” for more details). That also means millions of sites in the world are using WordPress. Some big names like Coca-cola, Sony, Van Heusen, USA Government Sites, The New Yorker, BBC America are all WordPress powered websites (please check “20 Big Name Brands That Use WordPress (and Why)” and “Notable WordPress Users” for more details). What WordPress can provide are way more than a church website could request. If they can build a complete website based on WordPress, we can certainly do it.

What can this project help you?
Our goal is to provide an easy way for TJC churches, organizations to build a robust and feature-rich website. Our project is targeted on the easy-to-use, flexibility, but fully-functional website.
- Easy-to-use: To manage a TJC website, it can be as easy as just type some text, select a category and publish. It’s not harder than a Word Document.
- Flexibility: Each church has different needs and resources to run a website. Some may only need one static page with simple information. Some may want many pages, data-rich and up-to-date info. We have a flexible structure and templates for different sites like Static, Basic, Regular, and Advanced. Even more, you can start from Basic, and adopt new features later. Your website can grow when you need more.
- Fully-functional: Other than basic posts, contact form and fancy looking website, we do provide a lot of features to support your need. Features like dynamic contents, advanced galleries, documents embedder, mega-menu, custom sidebar, church finder, advanced forms …etc. Please check our features for more details.
Do I share my website with others?
The answer is yes and no. Actually, this is the best option to set up a church website.
We do share one hosting, core files within the WordPress multisite setup. But from the multisite network, we create a subsite for each of you. You have almost full control on your own subsite (website). You can create your own pages, contents, users (staffs), choose the right features …etc. Other users in the multisite can not touch your dashboard without your permissions (well, except multisite network admins).
In short, you have a website setup for you while our IMP team take care all the complicated technical parts. You can focus on the contents to reach people on the internet, leave the hard works to us.
