God existed before the world 

• Gen 1:1 – In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
• Ps 90:2 – Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
• Ps 93:2 – Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.
• Ps 102:25 – Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
• Prov 8:22 – "The LORD possessed me at the beginning of his work, the first of his acts of old.
• Prov 8:23 – Ages ago I was set up, at the first, before the beginning of the earth.
• Prov 8:24 – When there were no depths I was brought forth, when there were no springs abounding with water.
• Prov 8:25 – Before the mountains had been shaped, before the hills, I was brought forth,

God exists forever

• Ps 102:24 – "O my God," I say, "take me not away in the midst of my days–you whose years endure throughout all generations!"

• Isa 9:6 – For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

God is self-existing; He is the beginning and the end

• Isa 41:4 – Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD, the first, and with the last; I am he.

God is from everlasting to everlasting; He is unchanging

He is king forever

• Ps 29:10 – The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever.
• Ps 45:6 – Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of uprightness;
• Ps 93:2 – Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting.
• Ps 145:13 – Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.[The LORD is faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.]
• Ps 146:10 – The LORD will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!

• Isa 9:7 – Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
• Joel 3:20 – But Judah shall be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem to all generations.
• Mic 4:7 – and the lame I will make the remnant, and those who were cast off, a strong nation; and the LORD will reign over them in Mount Zion from this time forth and forevermore.

• Ps 132:12 – If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne."
• Isa 55:3 – Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.
• Ezek 37:25 – They shall dwell in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, where your fathers lived. They and their children and their children's children shall dwell there forever, and David my servant shall be their prince forever.

A high priest forever 

• Ps 110:4 – The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, "You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek."
• Heb 5:6 – as he says also in another place, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."
• Heb 6:20 – where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
• Heb 7:17 – For it is witnessed of him, "You are a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek."
• Heb 7:21 – but this one was made a priest with an oath by the one who said to him: "The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind, 'You are a priest forever.'"
• Heb 7:24 – but he holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever.
• Heb 7:28 – For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Reigns forever 

• 1 Chr 29:11 – Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

Inhabits eternity

Promise of everlasting possession

• Gen 13:15 – for all the land that you see I will give to you and to your offspring forever.
• Gen 17:8 – And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God."
• Gen 48:4 – and said to me, 'Behold, I will make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will make of you a company of peoples and will give this land to your offspring after you for an everlasting possession.'

Promise of God’s abidance forever

Promise of eternal glory

• 1 Cor 2:7 – But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.
• 2 Cor 4:17 – For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
• 2 Tim 2:10 – Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
• 1 Pet 5:10 – And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Promise of never be ashamed 

• Isa 25:8 – He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.
• Isa 45:17 – But Israel is saved by the LORD with everlasting salvation; you shall not be put to shame or confounded to all eternity.
• Joel 2:26 – "You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you. And my people shall never again be put to shame.
• Joel 2:27 – You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame.

Promise of an everlasting name 

• Isa 56:5 – I will give in my house and within my walls a monument and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.

Promise of receiving the Spirit 

• Isa 59:21 – "And as for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring," says the LORD, "from this time forth and forevermore."

Promise of receiving God’s words 

• Isa 59:21 – "And as for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD: "My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children's offspring," says the LORD, "from this time forth and forevermore."

Promise of reigning with God forever 

• Rev 22:5 – And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

Everlasting desolation 

• Deut 13:16 – You shall gather all its spoil into the midst of its open square and burn the city and all its spoil with fire, as a whole burnt offering to the LORD your God. It shall be a heap forever. It shall not be built again.
• Isa 13:20 – It will never be inhabited or lived in for all generations; no Arab will pitch his tent there; no shepherds will make their flocks lie down there.
• Isa 25:2 – For you have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the foreigners' palace is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
• Isa 32:14 – For the palace is forsaken, the populous city deserted; the hill and the watchtower will become dens forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;
• Isa 34:10 – Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it forever and ever.
• Jer 25:9 – behold, I will send for all the tribes of the north, declares the LORD, and for Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and I will bring them against this land and its inhabitants, and against all these surrounding nations. I will devote them to destruction, and make them a horror, a hissing, and an everlasting desolation.

• Jer 49:33 – Hazor shall become a haunt of jackals, an everlasting waste; no man shall dwell there; no man shall sojourn in her."
• Jer 50:39 – "Therefore wild beasts shall dwell with hyenas in Babylon, and ostriches shall dwell in her. She shall never again have people, nor be inhabited for all generations.
• Jer 51:26 – No stone shall be taken from you for a corner and no stone for a foundation, but you shall be a perpetual waste, declares the LORD.
• Jer 51:62 – and say, 'O LORD, you have said concerning this place that you will cut it off, so that nothing shall dwell in it, neither man nor beast, and it shall be desolate forever.'
• Ezek 35:9 – I will make you a perpetual desolation, and your cities shall not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the LORD.

Perish forever 

• Job 4:20 – Between morning and evening they are beaten to pieces; they perish forever without anyone regarding it.
• Job 20:7 – he will perish forever like his own dung; those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
• Ps 9:5 – You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.
• Ps 9:6 – The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins; their cities you rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.
• Ps 37:28 – For the LORD loves justice; he will not forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
• Ps 52:5 – But God will break you down forever; he will snatch and tear you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living. Selah
• Ps 92:7 – that though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to destruction forever;
• Ezek 26:21 – I will bring you to a dreadful end, and you shall be no more. Though you be sought for, you will never be found again, declares the Lord GOD."
• Ezek 27:36 – The merchants among the peoples hiss at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever.'"
• Ezek 28:19 – All who know you among the peoples are appalled at you; you have come to a dreadful end and shall be no more forever."
• Obad 1:10 – Because of the violence done to your brother Jacob, shame shall cover you, and you shall be cut off forever.

Eternal punishment 

• 1 Sam 3:13 – And I declare to him that I am about to punish his house forever, for the iniquity that he knew, because his sons were blaspheming God, and he did not restrain them.
• 2 Sam 12:10 – Now therefore the sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me and have taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be your wife.'
• 2 Kgs 5:27 – Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever." So he went out from his presence a leper, like snow.
• Mt 25:41 – "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
• Mt 25:46 – And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
• Jude 1:7 – just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.
• Rev 14:11 – And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name."
• Rev 19:3 – Once more they cried out, "Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever."
• Rev 20:10 – and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Everlasting shame 

• Ps 78:66 – And he put his adversaries to rout; he put them to everlasting shame.
• Jer 18:16 – making their land a horror, a thing to be hissed at forever. Everyone who passes by it is horrified and shakes his head.
• Jer 20:11 – But the LORD is with me as a dread warrior; therefore my persecutors will stumble; they will not overcome me. They will be greatly shamed, for they will not succeed. Their eternal dishonor will never be forgotten.
• Jer 23:40 – And I will bring upon you everlasting reproach and perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.'"
• Dan 12:2 – And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Eternal sin 

• 1 Sam 3:14 – Therefore I swear to the house of Eli that the iniquity of Eli's house shall not be atoned for by sacrifice or offering forever."
• 1 Kgs 2:33 – So shall their blood come back on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever. But for David and for his descendants and for his house and for his throne there shall be peace from the LORD forevermore."
• Mt 12:32 – And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
• Mk 3:29 – but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"–

Eternal destruction 

• Num 24:20 – Then he looked on Amalek and took up his discourse and said, "Amalek was the first among the nations, but its end is utter destruction."
• Num 24:24 – But ships shall come from Kittim and shall afflict Asshur and Eber; and he too shall come to utter destruction."
• 2 Thess 1:9 – They will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

Forever cursed  

• Deut 28:46 – They shall be a sign and a wonder against you and your offspring forever.
• Mt 21:19 – And seeing a fig tree by the wayside, he went to it and found nothing on it but only leaves. And he said to it, "May no fruit ever come from you again!" And the fig tree withered at once.
• Mk 11:14 – And he said to it, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard it.

Never be remembered 

• Ps 9:5 – You have rebuked the nations; you have made the wicked perish; you have blotted out their name forever and ever.
• Ps 9:6 – The enemy came to an end in everlasting ruins; their cities you rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.
• Isa 14:20 – You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people."May the offspring of evildoers nevermore be named!

Darkness forever 

• Ps 49:19 – his soul will go to the generation of his fathers, who will never again see light.
• Jude 1:13 – wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.
• Jude 1:6 – And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day–

Forbidden to enter the assembly of God forever 

• Deut 23:3 – "No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the assembly of the LORD. Even to the tenth generation, none of them may enter the assembly of the LORD forever,
• Neh 13:1 – On that day they read from the Book of Moses in the hearing of the people. And in it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God,

Peace not to be sought forever 

• Deut 23:6 – You shall not seek their peace or their prosperity all your days forever.

No more share forever 

• Eccl 9:6 – Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun.

Under God’s anger forever 

• Mal 1:4 – If Edom says, "We are shattered but we will rebuild the ruins," the LORD of hosts says, "They may build, but I will tear down, and they will be called 'the wicked country,' and 'the people with whom the LORD is angry forever.'"

David’s house

• 2 Sam 7:16 – And your house and your kingdom shall be made sure forever before me. Your throne shall be established forever.'"
• 2 Sam 22:51 – Great salvation he brings to his king, and shows steadfast love to his anointed, to David and his offspring forever."
• 1 Kgs 2:45 – But King Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the LORD forever."

Aaron and his sons

• Ex 29:28 – It shall be for Aaron and his sons as a perpetual due from the people of Israel, for it is a contribution. It shall be a contribution from the people of Israel from their peace offerings, their contribution to the LORD.
• Lev 6:18 – Every male among the children of Aaron may eat of it, as decreed forever throughout your generations, from the LORD's food offerings. Whatever touches them shall become holy."
• Lev 7:34 – For the breast that is waved and the thigh that is contributed I have taken from the people of Israel, out of the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them to Aaron the priest and to his sons, as a perpetual due from the people of Israel.
• Lev 24:9 – And it shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat it in a holy place, since it is for him a most holy portion out of the LORD's food offerings, a perpetual due."

Abraham 

• Gen 17:7 – And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.
• Gen 17:8 – And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God."

  • Gen 9:16 – When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth."
  • Gen 17:7 – And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you.
  • Gen 17:13 – both he who is born in your house and he who is bought with your money, shall surely be circumcised. So shall my covenant be in your flesh an everlasting covenant.
  • Gen 17:19 – God said, "No, but Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.
