Pastoral Assistance by Sabah Preacher
Throughout the year 2024, we have preachers from Sabah to assist us in the pastoring works of the Malay-speaking members.
– Pr. Simeon Resin was here in February – March. He assisted in the Northern, Central and Southern Regions.
– Pr. Yairus Insing was here to assist the work in the Northern Region from April 1 to 29.
Regional Bahasa Malaysia Speaking Spiritual Meeting:
The theme was “Mencabut dan merobohkan, membinasakan dan meruntuhkan, membangun dan menanam” (Yeremia 1.10).
Perak Region:
Spiritual Meeting was held in Ipoh Church. Besides Pr. Yairus, local ministers, Pr. Maleakhi and Dn. Petrus Bah Man assisted.
Northern Region:
Spiritual Meeting was held in Pengkalan Hulu Church. Pr. Yairus, local ministers, Pr. Haggai and Dn. Jonah Tan assisted.
Pastoral Assistance by India Preacher
Preacher Andrew Nickelson was in Malaysia from 12 February to 12 March to assist with pastoral work. In addition to his regular visits, pastoral and evangelistic work, he has also been assisting with translations. He has completed a Tamil translation of Hymnbook with the youths of Kajang Utama.
The church organized an Evangelistic and Spiritual Meeting. Both were broadcast live to the believers and truth seekers in Sri Lanka.
The India missionary team has been on a pastoral tour to Skudai and Johor, and apart from visiting the turth seekers (Mrs Valli and her mother), they also introduced a truth seeker, Mr Elirani, to Skudai church. Mrs Valli’s mother will be baptised in June.
