Native Counselling Camp
The 2024 Native Counselling Camp was held from 23rd February to 4th March at Ipoh church, organised by the Education Affairs Department of the General Assembly of West Malaysia. The speakers were Dn. Isaiah Chang, Pr. Ezra Chong and Dns. Ruth Chin. A total of 30 native children from Pengkalan Hulu, Cameron Highlands, Kg. Pergom, Batu 9, Pos Dipang and Chenderiang participated in the camp this year.
On the Saturday morning of 24th February, before the opening ceremony of the Camp, the team visited Kg. Pergom where activities were held to interact with the children. The afternoon Sabbath service was then held in Tapah church.
Apart from religious education, the students were tutored on academic subjects by the facilitators. They also received training on basic life skills such as sewing and cooking. Praise the Lord that all the activities were carried out smoothly.
National Malay-Speaking Bible Camp
The National Malay-Speaking Bible Camp was held from the 6th -12th April, 2024 (Saturday-Friday). A total of 77 students nationwide participated in this camp: 20 Upper Primary students, 34 Junior Youth students, and 23 Intermediate Youth students. Speakers at the Bible camp were Pr. Malachi, Pr. Haggai, Pr. Nehemiah Ooi, Pr. Isaac Pang and Dns. Ruth Chin. Thank God, the 7-day Bible camp was carried out smoothly at Olive Garden, Port Dickson.
